The spread of the Ebola virus is through all bodily fluids and is not airborne. However, when a sick person boards a plane (or any public transport) and does not know they are yet severely sick, there is a small risk that an uncovered cough, sneeze, or remnants from a bathroom visit can spread this deadly virus.
It is the duty of the American Government to protect its citizens from the spread of this virus by closing its borders to all travellers originating from affected African nations temporarily and/or enact a quarantine to prevent the spread until an available known cure or vaccine is made available.
The current number of affected is in the thousands and rising.
The time is now to protect our own lives - not global trade or international relations.
