Our representatives are out of touch with the everyday citizen. That is because they are no longer one's themselves. The term "career politician" should not be a description for someone's vocation. The lobbyists and PACs have created an environment of greed and corruption.
Our elected officials need to know, they are there to temporarily represent our interests before they return to being one of "us".
