It is becoming increasingly clear that the majority of elected officials no longer have the best interest of our country and their constituents at heart. They have become lifelong politicians who serve themselves and work for the special interest groups who donate and contribute to their campaigns. This is seen in every bill and legislation signed into law, which is filled with millions of tax payer dollars earmarked for special entities and groups. Our officials have turned from working for the people, to working to keep themselves elected and to pad the pockets of those who contribute to their campaigns and causes.
The only way to ensure that our politicians are working for the people is to enact TERM LIMITS on every Congressman and Senator.
