Enact term limits for Federal Representatives and Senators through legislation or constitutional convention.

Created by A.D. on March 21, 2013

The Congress of the United States has become an overpaid, overstaffed, corrupt institution. Members of Congress are no longer "thoroughly masters of the public business" framers of the Constitution envisioned, they are all too often career politicians serving private, corporate interests over the will of their non-corporate constituents.

In May 1995, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5–4 in U.S. Term Limits, Inc. v. Thornton, that states cannot impose term limits upon their federal Representatives or Senators. With overwhelming popular support for term limits, it is now incumbent upon the federal government to initiate this necessary reform.

We the People, our voices are not heard. Our interests are not represented, our will is not preserved. As our Chief Executive, execute our will.
