Enact the Theology Tax Reform Act

Created by J.H. on November 14, 2012

We the People feel there is a need for consistency within the laws regarding religious organizations involved with the government process.

The solution to this issue would be a Religion Tax Reform Act; removing non-profit status from theological organizations who opt into funding initiatives on state and federal levels. By doing so, these entities willingly surrender non-profit status and will be taxed a percentage of how much they donate to these initiatives. If said organization opts out the process, they will be allowed to keep their non-profit status but will be forbidden to donate to any part of the government process.
