encourage an amendment making all congress members ineligible for re-election if the federal deficit exceeds 2% of GDP

This petition is designed to encourage the introduction of a Constitutional amendment which states:

All members of Congress will be immediately and irrevocably ineligible for re-election if the federal deficit exceeds 2% of the national GDP for the preceding fiscal year ($312 billion for fiscal year 2012)
