We demand the Federal Government better advertises the current solar incentives and encourages solar energy use amongst the public. Increasing federal tax incentives and Feed in Tariffs will enable more citizens to afford solar energy. Feed In Tariffs enable companies producing solar panels to sell their products for more affordable rates. After the majority of households utilize solar energy, we will phase out tax incentives and replace them with a tax on households without solar energy that are over a certain income. Eventually, the household solar tax will become a tax on non-green energy use. Additionally, encouragement in schools to promote the commitment of further generations to solar energy and a green future ensures a successful and environmentally friendly future.
