Encourage and support the growth of fruits and vegetables for healthy living on US farmlands with competitive pricing.

Created by R.W. on April 04, 2013

Most foodstuffs economically cheaper to buy and consume including fast foods are derived from subsidized crops like corn/wheat (think high-fructose corn syrup). These are unhealthy when consumed as a major part of the diet. Create subsidies, or transfer subsidies to encourage US farmers to cultivate healthy crops: Berries, Nuts, leafy vegetables, etc. Thereby lowering the cost which will allow healthier eating on lower incomes and encourage expansion and availability.
