Dedicated Chicago Cubs fans and Chicago Wrigleyville residents are in the the throes of a battle for one of their most beloved icons, Billy Cub.
The Chicago Cubs organization in conjunction with Major league Baseball, is attempting to force the neighborhood staple out of business.
After seven years of bringing joy to the hearts of hundreds of thousands of fans from around the world, the Cubs have decided that since they see no money from Billy Cub, that he cannot continue his venture. Instead of trying to work with Billy Cub, they are using their money and influence to intimidate him out of the neighborhood.
We cannot sit by idly while they do this.
