Encourage children to examine facts and think for themselves by banning all religion-referencing, creationist textbooks.

While children in our society should be able to choose for themselves whether or not they believe in creationism or intelligent design, there is little to no completely factual evidence pointing to this hypothesis. This ban will force regulated science textbooks in public AND private schools to teach the theory of evolution and non-creationism, though private schools will be free to teach creationism as a hypothesis, not fact, in religion or similar classes.
We as a society need as many kids as possible to realize that in order to accept something, facts need to be present.
