The continuing threat on non-native invasive species of animals and fish is having a significant impact on the United States environment.
The United States government should focus on these species as an economically under utilized food source and encourage Jobs be created to capture new food processing industries in the United States.
Non-indigenous invasive species such as Asian Carp, Rusty Crayfish, Snakehead fish, and the Burmese Python in Florida are all natural resources within the U.S. Borders which could be used, utilizing Govt. subsidies and ad campaigns, to provide new sources of protein to the Nation while benefitting the environment.
