ENCOURAGE CONGRESS TO ALLOW PUERTO RICANS THE RIGHT TO VOTE FOR U.S. PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

Created on March 04, 2016

Currently, Puerto Ricans living in the island of Puerto Rico can only exercise their voting rights during the Presidential Primaries, while, Puerto Ricans residing in the United States can exercise their voting rights in the Presidential Primaries and U.S. Presidential Elections.
In response to the United States voting rights, our fifteenth amendment rights must be extended equally to all U.S. Citizens.
This would allow Puerto Ricans in the island the right to vote in the U.S. Presidential Elections.
We Puerto Ricans and Citizens of the United States of America, petition for the administration to encourage Congress to take the necessary actions to allow Puerto Rico’s residents the same voting rights as those U.S. Citizens living in the United States of America.
