If the government shuts down, Congress should be encouraged, by the public, to donate their pay they will receive to organizations that benefit United States Military service members and their families. As a result of non-bipartisanship, those defending the USA will suffer financially without the option to quit or find a new job. Military members currently deployed all over the world will continue to dodge IEDs, bullets, and spread democracy without compensation or benefits. As a measure of good faith in an attempt to support our troops, please sign this petition.
