Encourage congress to pass a federal constitutional amendment protecting the right of same sex couples to marry.

The time has come for congress to end the discrimination of same sex couples by ending the prohibition on their fundamental right to marry whomever they choose. To continue denying them this right is a great disservice, not only to the LGBTQ of America, but to the United States Constitution which ensures equal protection. None of the arguments against gay marriage hold up when logic is applied to them, and for these reasons we demand action against the state laws barring same sex couples from practicing their constitutionally secured rights.
