Encourage Congress to repeal the Gun Control Act of 1986 and National Firearms Act of 1934

Created by A.C. on December 13, 2012

We, The People, of These United States of America have determined that these 2 laws do absolutely NOTHING to prevent crime in any manner. We request that you encourage the lawmakers of America to have an intelligent and honest debate about these two laws that do nothing! Alas, they do do something: These 2 laws ensure that only the RICH people of this country are "allowed" to own select-fire, suppressed, fully automatic, and other fun guns. Why is it that the elected officials see fit to require a person to be RICH to own these weapons? Do rich people have more rights than us poor people? Are rich people more honest? Do they have better moral standards? Give me ONE reason why these laws make any sense at all. A select-fire weapon costs between $10K and $100K. Why? See GCA & NFA.
