Public opinion of Congress has reached record lows recently. Their list of accomplishments is short. To the average citizen, Congress is wasting time with political infighting. We demand progress.
By signing this petition I express my wish for the Administration to publicly encourage the following:
Congressional Reform: Congress is broken. The Executive Branch cannot reform Congress. Inform the people how we can fix it.
Proportional Representation: Our voting system is a plurality; winner-takes-all. Anyone who voted for a loser is not represented. Bipartisan duopoly is all but guaranteed. Other democracies have already figured this out. Encourage electoral reform.
Compromise: There is no incentive for compromise within congress. Create incentive. With cash if necessary.
