Congress has been able to hold the American people hostage with their ridiculous games. They must by law be prevented from doing so again. This amendment would require a budgets and debt ceiling bills passed by the deadlines (not necessarily signed by the President). Failure to do so will dissolve both house and senate, as they have breached their oath of office to serve the people of the United States.
Members of those bodies will be ineligible for reelection to either the house or senate, as they are unfit for high office.
