To encourage consumers to “buy American” Congress should allow a tax deduction on any products made in the United States

Created by S.A. on February 14, 2013

Tax Deduction for Buying Products Made in the United States Jobs can be created to produce products in the United States, but if no one buys them then those jobs will disappear, as the companies will not have any revenue coming in to pay employees. In cases where two similar products are available, one made in the United States and one made offshore, consumers sometimes will choose to buy the one made offshore. To encourage consumers to “buy American,” Congress should allow a tax deduction of the amount spent on any products made in the United States. This would shift consumer purchasing, especially on items where the tax incentive is greater. As demand for products made in the United States increases, companies will hire more employees.http://soleynm.tumblr.com/post/27425984784/
