encourage the creation of a combination badge to be worn by members of the Army that have earned both the CIB and EIBs.

I petition that the Obama administration encourage the development of a badge to be worn by members of the Army that have earned both the Expert Infantry Badge and the Combat Infantry Badge to showcase both their proven expertise in their field. Both of these badges are in the same category of wear on the Army uniform and therefore soldiers are not authorized the wear of both badges simultaniously. At the minimum, I would recommend that it be encouraged to make all combat badges fall under one category and allow proficiency badges to be worn underneath in the following category.
