Dear Mr. President,
Aeronautic robots are as much, or more, of the economy of the future as shale oil or the electric car. Yet, in almost every way, it is currently illegal to use commercial drones in the US. According to Bloomberg, Time, the Economist, and the Wall St Journal, the US trails Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the UAE, and others in creating opportunities, (such as in shipping, surveying, or promotional filming) for this exciting new technology.
Please work with Congress (haha) and the FAA to lift the legal restraints against the use of this innovative and sophisticated technology. Let's prevent our smart robotics companies from being forced to ship jobs overseas. Let's have America regain its rightful place at the forefront of important technological revolution.
