Hidradenitis suppurativa is commonly miss diagnosed and mistreated here in the United States. Leading to use of unneeded antibiotics.I suffer from HS! I live with daily pain to which there is NO true treatment just more pills that do nothing. Just things that might help and doctors with wrong information. We suffer in silence because many are ashamed. It's not because of your hygiene. It's not a contagious illness. It's just the way my immune system, and many like me, is. Sometime not being able to walk. I am 22 and have to have my husband help me put pants on if I am having an outbreak and I only have mild HS. There are those who have it much worse then I do. I want something done. I want research done on this "orphan illness"
