encourage every person who signed a petition to create a new government to please leave the country or deal with it.

While I appreciate everyone is entitled to freedom of speech and opinion, this is simply me exercising that same right. I feel that the government should encourage any persons who has signed a petition to emancipate their city/state from the United States to either leave the country or suck it up and deal with it for another presidential term. I understand that you might not like the president, but there have been far worse presidents, and most likely will be again. This, however, is not the way to deal with it. Educate yourselves, you are embarrassing your states and country with these ill-planned and idiotic petitions. In all reality, do you really think that will EVER happen? No. Grow up.
