The FCC should revoke the broadcast licenses of NBC and its 225 affiliates for violating the public interest. Last Sunday, NBC's Meet The Press anchor David Gregory brandished a high capacity ammunition magazine during the program, in clear violation of DC laws. NBC requested to air the ammunition, and despite being denied by the DC police, aired it anyways. NBC has also aired the Constitutionally-violating-if-implemented remarks by Harry Belafonte, and illegally put explosives in a pickup truck to "highlight a defect." NBC parent company Comcast illegally owns 2 other broadcast networks (Telemundo and Ion), as well as the largest US cable service. This is not in the public service. The FCC should follow its own modus operandi and shut down the public disservices of NBC and Comcast.
