By legalizing Marijuana in the United States, South American Growers and workers would collect higher profits and stimulate their economy. They would not lose profits to US middlemen who earn higher profits than they do. Taxes similiar to alcohol would stimulate the U.S. economy. Fewer Children would have access because if their parents did purchase, it would be smaller quantities, purchasers would hoard it. By establlishing laws similiar to alcohol, parents assume the same responsibility of keeping it from their children or face the same stiff penalities. Both countries may see reduced firearm use due to illegal activities. It would NOT BE profitable for South American exporters to provide larger quantities of Marijuana or it's seeds illegally.
