This country is founded on freedoms. These freedoms include freedom of religion and freedom of speech. So why is Gay marriage even an issue?
When it comes to laws, it doesn't matter what the bible says, or what the pope says, all that matters is what a tax payed judge thinks on the issue.
Up until the year 1967 Interracial marriage was illegal. Its the same arguement, the black man wasn't allowed to marry the white woman, because the white man didn't like the black man (or vice versa) So why should a straight man care what a gay guy or girl does? Why should the extremely religious man care if the homosexuals get married if it isn't in the church?
