Encourage a jobs bill to hire the unemployed, remove unsightly buildings, create housing demand, and improve the economy

Created by R.M. on August 22, 2013

Put unemployed to work destroying unsightly excess buildings. Partner with business to buy abandoned homes and buildings, or destroy them at no cost to owner as an incentive. Provide a wage above the poverty level. Train those employed one day a week to boost deficient skills using unemployed teachers. Construct recycling centers to recover materials and offer reuse at low cost. Employ truck drivers & equipment operators to move the material to recycling centers. Gives unemployed spendable income. Keeps crime down. Learn new skills. New houses rise to meet the demand. Unemployed with new skills are hired to help meet that new demand. Use mostly U.S. manufactured products in new construction. Manufacturers start making more home products, builders are back to work, people are happy.
