To encourage local, state, & federal Law Enforcement to stop the use of force as deemed excessive by the people.

Created by G.B. on September 20, 2013

Mr President. It is clear that we are in a global state of unrest and everyone feels the pressure of that. Law Enforcement probably feels that pressure more than others but LEO's do not, or should not, operate under impunity.

Let me be clear, this is not a call to restrict the ability of Law Enforcement to serve and protect the whole public, but rather a plea to make that the focus again as it once was. Serving corporate interests is no good.

A simple google search on police brutality is very revealing with new cases popping up more & more frequently. Cases like the recent killing of 95 yr old John Wrana of Chicago. Please Mr President, the state and direction of our nation starts at the top so please help us fix this or at the very least, acknowledge that you understand the problem.
