Encourage military recruiters to allow and accept reenlistment packages for Honorably Discharged Veterans.

Created by G.A. on January 09, 2013

Please provide incentives for military recruiters to recruit Honorably discharged veterans under the DADT policy to reenlist back on full active duty status. Armed forces veterans are often not the first priority to military active duty recruiters because prior service vets don't count toward their yearly recruitment quotas. Most veterans are highly trained and wanted by all branches of the military, but are often looked over when it comes to reenlisting to active duty. I believe any new legislation would also help solve problems when veterans are not able to find jobs in the civilian sector.
