Encourage The Movement To Allow Educators To Carry A Firearm On Campus.

I am a high school student myself, and the fact of the matter is, here in Texas we try to protect children by putting up a bulletin stating that it is a "gun free" zone. I speak for myself and many others when I say that I would feel much safer knowing that the educators in my school are armed and willing to protect me and my classmates in an event such as the Newtown, CT Massacre. (Giving the proper training, and mental health exams). From my knowledge I know that in the past decade or two there have been absolutely 0 shootings at gun shows where 95% of people are armed. The number of school shootings where a simple sign is supposed to protect the youth of our nation, has proved to be an inadequate measure in the push for student protection, and change is needed.
