Encourage the MPAA and RIAA to embrace digital distribution at reasonable prices to fight piracy rather than new laws

Created by E.H. on January 23, 2012

Distribution has changed dramatically since the internet began. The old ways are obsolete and should be abandoned. We should not be crafting legislation to support old forms of distribution but instead encouraging the companies to evolve new less restrictive business models. If a company is unwilling to change, we should not be propping them up with new laws. If these companies released their products in a timely manner at a reasonable price, I'm sure piracy would not be an issue.
