Though most of us are unaware of circumstances that motivated Mr. Snowden take this step, from news reports of his movements, it gives one the impression of disparaging intrigue.
Being in a precarious situation prior to disclosing his misgivings, due to fear for one's life and civil liberties, locating oneself in what one perceives as a location of safety is not abnormal. Now that state of unpredictability has passed, as Mr. Snowden has acknowledged, it is time to do the hard part of facing the consequences in a manner that gives room for no ambiguity of his intention to keep the best interest of the common people of the United States.
Dodging law at this point in time is akin to playing into thoughts that causes one to doubt his loyalty to his country and protection of civil liberties.
