Encourage NASA to revert to the worm logo used in the 1970s and 1980s.

Created by T.M. on September 02, 2015

In the 1970s, Richard Danne and Bruce Blackburn created a new graphic standards manual for NASA. The new identity replaced the original logo--colloquially known as the meatball--with a futuristic wordmark which came to be known as the "worm" logo. Compare the two at http://kottke.org/15/08/nasas-logo-the-worm-vs-the-meatball

The worm logo is a modern, minimalist, and beautiful identity, and it was once a proud emblem of U.S. space exploration. Unfortunately, NASA reverted to using the old meatball logo in 1992, and it has been aging poorly ever since.

We the people request that NASA re-adopt the worm logo.
