Nintendo is choosing to only offer the Nintendo Network for online video gaming as of May 20, 2014, knowing that many people still rely on the Nintendo Wi-fi Connection to play games such as Mario Kart DS and Pokemon Diamond. Nintendo is putting a lot at stake by discontinuing the Nintendo Wi-fi Connection without realizing some of the consequences. Some people can't afford the Wii U, and others are content with Nintendo DS. Why fix something that isn't broken?
