encourage North American Jews to develop an Ashkenazi-flavored food-festival at the END of Passover!

Created by D.A. on March 31, 2013

North African Jews have a traditional festival called "Mimouna" at the end of Passover. Moroccan and Algerian Jews traditionally opened their homes to visitors Jewish and non-Jewish, to enjoy a spread of traditional holiday cakes and sweetmeats.
For Ashkenazi Jews, after two Seders, it's a bit of a culinary anti-climax ... and then, for the next week, nothing.

Why not encourage the establishment of an Ashkenazi equivalent to Mimouna?
