We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

Encourage pharmaceutical companies to do research on a drug that can be used to quell anger/rage/homicidal feelings.

Created by M.B. on June 20, 2016

Currently, pharmaceutical companies do research that addresses sadness and depression. But, no research is being done to combat the feelings of anger/rage/homicidal feelings that plague humankind. We use the criminal justice system to remove people from free society who show off their anger/rage/homicidal tendencies. We then place them, untreated into another society where their anger/rage/homicidal behavior goes unchecked and they express themselves on their fellow inmates. We all know as humans when we are angry/enraged/homicidal. Wouldn't it be great to be able to take a medication to suppress these feelings when they occur. The incidence of domestic violence, murder, mass shootings, would invariably go down and the police would have less to do.
