We believe that no one is actually "for" or "pro" abortion, least of all, President Barack Obama. We are asking the President to make a public statement about his personal feelings on the issue. We believe that Pro-Choice does not mean Pro-abortion and that the President's Affordable Care Act, including affordable birth control and education about alternatives like adoption have and will reduce the number of and need for abortions. We believe that a personal statement by the President will help quiet those critics who believe that a woman's right to choose means she will choose an abortion over alternatives including the choice to prevent conception. We believe that a personal, heart-felt statement would change the hearts of those "single-issue" voters to support a second term.
