encourage the removal of the statue of limitations against sexual abuse of children or minors in every state.

Created by J.H. on February 27, 2013

Remove the statue of limitations states are allowed to place on sexual abuse against children and minors. Allow a victim of sexual abuse to file, persecute, and sue the assailant for criminal as well as civil damages no matter how long after the event occurred. If a child is sexually abused or exploited that child should be allowed to persecute for criminal charges and for psychological damage even if they don't report it until they are 50.
A child does not report a sexual assault out of fear as a teen they still say nothing out of embarrassment, pride, and fear and as an adult they say nothing for the suppressed the memories but when the memories come out no matter when they should be allowed to have the law investigate, capture and punish the perpetrator.
