Encourage the retail industry to compensate the thanksgiving holiday workers with double hourly wages and 1 paid day off

Created by R.S. on November 07, 2013

We believe that the retail workers who will have to work the thankgiving holiday when retailers are going to be open 24 to 41 hours straight need to be compensated for the time away from thier family's because the retailer needs to make a profit. They should be paid double time for working a holiday and given a compensatory day off to be determined by the employee At thier discretion.
The sudden need to be open 24 hours a day at the time of the thankgiving holiday is defeating the support of family values in society today
