Encourage the Smithsonian Museum of African American Culture and History to include Justice Clarence Thomas

The exclusion of the longest serving African American Justice on the US Supreme Court is a slight to the mission of the museum and the American people. Clarence Thomas has boldly confronted institutionalized racism throughout his life. He withstood attempts by politically motivated organizations to stop his confirmation and directly challenged the Senate Judiciary Committee for the prejudiced and racially biased treatment he received. Justice Thomas is an example of personal integrity and professional achievement that must not be neglected in the Museum of African American Culture and History. To honor his discredited accuser Anita Hill without noting Justice Thomas' successful overcoming of bias, racism, and political intrigue is an affront to equality and racial justice.
