The freedom to engage in political speech, even when it takes the form of humor or entertainment, is one of the most fundamental aspects of American liberty. By allowing themselves to be silenced by bullying and threats, Sony pictures has set a dangerous precedent for allowing freedom of speech to be snuffed out. We ask President Obama to encourage Sony Pictures to have courage in the face of these threats, and not stop the release of The Interview.
