Stop Washington State lawmakers from further abrogating the United States Constitution.
Injured workers in the State of Washington are routinely required to submit to mandatory interrogations under penalty of law without being properly informed of their Miranda Rights (RCW 51.04.020(3), RCW 51.32.110(2), RCW 51.48.270, WAC 296-20-2025).
The State of Washington, in exercising its police powers, has enabled itself to interrogate injured workers without consideration of those person’s due process or Miranda Rights.
WAC 296-20-2025 specifically forbids injured workers the right to counsel during interrogations by the State in determining entitlement to benefits or consumer fraud (guilt or innocence).
