We the people petition the President to lead and to encourage the leaders of the House and the Senate during the budget talks. The President should be creating a civil atmosphere in which both sides may be able to advance their positions and come to a mutual agreement.
If there is a failure to pass a budget by the next budget deadlines, there should be a consequence for failure in leadership. Consequently, we the people further petition that the President, the House Speaker, and the Senate Majority Leader should be removed from office upon failure to pass a budget.
