It is well established that firearms in the hands of law abiding people protect people and prevent crime. The second amendment prohibits the infringement of the citizens right to own and bear arms. So, the answer is, to promote legislation to require each school to have two or more teachers train in the use of firearms, and have firearms stored in lock boxes which are quickly accessible to them in the case of an emergency.
