Last Tuesday, social media exploded with hyperbole. There were threats from our fellow citizens - threats aimed towards certain races, certain classes, and certain sexual orientations. Many of our fellow citizens were upset with the election results. They claimed that they were prepared to pack their bags and move to Canada and Iceland.
I ask that those who feel threatened by equal rights - feel free to leave. I ask that the president make special accommodations for those who want to leave the country. The farther away, the better.
If citizens should choose secession for their state, let it happen. Cut off their funds, for it is their choice. Let them go. We don't want them anymore.
