Encourage the University of Chicago to preserve and not destroy the Chicago childhood home of Ronald Reagan,

Created by J.L. on January 30, 2013

We would like the Obama administration to encourage the University of Chicago to preserve and not destroy the Chicago childhood home of America’s only Illinois-born president, Ronald Reagan. The property, located at 832 E. 57th Street, served as the former president’s childhood home in 1915. We believe history would be better served by preserving the property as a national landmark dedicated to the Chicago roots of one of our country’s most respected leaders rather than relegating the property to being a university parking lot.
