Congressional legislators need to listen to their constituents, but too many only appear to pay lip service to individual constituent comments. Congress as a whole should have a petition system such as this, so each citizen can reach out to every federal lawmaker with one direct move and, in doing so, join voices with many others in a way everyone can see and count, such as with this petition. Anything less is a dispersal and waste of effort, intended to avoid hearing our pleas.
