Diesel engines are capable of higher efficiency and longer life than a regular gas engine, yet it is very difficult to find high efficiency diesel engines in the US.
Throughout Europe minivans are making up to 40MPG. Some are even manufactured in NA and sent over to Europe, but they remain unavailable to Americans.
Encourage production of these vehicles and ensure that hurdles are minimized for people wanting to import them.
