Encourage use of Linux on all computers in the Federal Government to increase National Security and reduce spending

Created by C.A. on December 10, 2012

In an effort to reduce spending and increase national security, we the undersigned hereby request the White House to encourage the use of Linux on all computers in the Federal Government, where possible.

Linux is a free free, libre, and open-source operating system for computers.

Instead of upgrading computers to the newest version of Microsoft Windows and paying an expensive licence fee, consider using Linux instead.

This would allow the entire government to be more secure and more flexible, at a cheaper cost to the taxpayer.
