Encourage voters to pledge not to vote for congressmen who are not in Washington until the fiscal cliff is avoided.

Created by M.M. on December 03, 2012

The "fiscal cliff" issue is one that should be avoided at all costs, and any elected official who is not in Washington every day from December 5th, until the issue that would effectively put us through a completely avoidable recession, like the one of 2008 is not looking out for the good of the people. My petition is non-partisan, and I urge President Obama to release a list names of members of both houses of congress, who are not in Washington working to stop us from going over the fiscal cliff, and how much time they spent off work as the country moves closer to another economic meltdown, so that we can be as well informed as possible the next time we enter the polls. It is important that voters are as informed as possible and lists like this would hold congress more responsible.
