We, the citizens of the United States of America, would like to submit for review that any person who votes in a general election, regardless of party, shall then receive a $200 tax credit when filing their end of year taxes.
Voter turnout in general elections is less than 50% of the American population, which is embarrassing. This policy would encourage voters to become active in making their voices heard by becoming registered voters in their district, and then placing their votes on election day. This should not place bias on the populace to vote towards either party, but simply encourage them to vote in general.
